Urithi Wetu (Our Heritage) is a research group that Dr Elgidius Ichumbaki found in 2016. It was started purposely to conduct research, offer professional advice, raise public awareness on matters of cultural heritage and offer training to next generation to ensure heritage sustainability. The group brings together experienced researchers, early career professionals, junior scholars and volunteers in the field of cultural heritage. The group’s aims including conducting high-quality research, providing professional advice on matters of cultural heritage and implementing projects that bring cultures to life. Our networks include researchers and heritage practitioners from around the world.
